Project DescriptionWhether one is drawing from real life or create your own drawing, an artist need to have a working understanding of value. Creating believable highlights and shadows is key to making something that looks realistic.
In this project students will learn the basics of working with charcoal to render an object. Charcoal is an ideal medium for blending because of it's soft construction. Being able to control smooth transitions between different values on an object will help create the sense of realism that we are striving to create. CriteriaTotal 30 points
