Project DescriptionThe natural world is a source of inspiration for many artists. Animals and plants have been the source for many great color sets. Patterns can be seen throughout the world, whether through scales on a fist or the flow of the milky way. The more we observer the world around us, the more ways we find to use the information we find.
In this project you will choose an object that inspires you and create several layers of abstractions of that object. We will work with the simplification of the shape, then the fracturing and overlapping of it. From its coloration we will identify what color set it uses and spread it around our design. Finally we will develop a myriad of patterns related to the object. Project CriteriaTotal -40 points
