-List 5 different genres of storytelling that you might use. (i.e. horror, comedy, slice of life) -What movies, books, video games, etc. will you draw inspiration from to build your scene(s)? -From your choices, list a few 5 scenes that you might use. Label the inspiration, what the scene is and if they are interior or exterior scenes. (i.e. Batman: jumping of a roof - exterior) -Will your horizon line be high (bird’s eye), low (worm’s eye) or centered on your page? -What will the pop out element be in your scene(s)? -List 5 angular objects in your scene(s) that will draw in perspective. -List 5 other things that will populate your scene(s) to help bring it alive. (books and cups on the table, broken swords on the battlefield) -What title will you give the entire thing?

Warm up: Use 1-Point perspective to draw the name of the song stuck in your head, or the song you've been listening to lately. Class Assignment: Design a scene using 1 point perspective. The scene must have:

-Give a title to your work: -Who did you choose, and why are they considered a leader? -Focusing on the text, why did you choose the quotes or facts you chose? Does the text reflect on the individual in a positive light, negative light or something in between? -Thinking about composition, what is something you did well in the composition and what is something that would make it look stronger? -Write out a list of at least 5 emotions that come to mind when you look at this artwork. Briefly, explain why you chose each emotion. (Happy- the bright colors, sad- the man sitting alone, troubled- the shadow in the background, etc.) -If you were to use any aspect of this project in a different project (maybe a personal work) what might you use? |
